Continuity.

Continuity is when video clips get put together, but having the same information so the clips go together smoothly.

180 degree rule.

The 180 rule is a guidline when while filming everyone in the scene should have the same left-right relationship to each other and the filming should only take place within the 180 degree angle.

Shot/reverse shot

Shot reverse shot is a shot showing what a character is supposedly looking at and then followed by a reverse angle of the character themselves looking at it.

Match on action.

Match on action is an editing technique for continuity editing. Where one shot cuts to another shot while still portraying the action in the first shot.
